CLAIMS VALUE
$1M to +$50M
Randall has participated in more than 100 arbitrations and mediations throughout his career – as advocate, client and neutral – across a variety of industries including financial services, manufacturing, insurance, government regulations, professional services, and investment management. The claims have ranged in value from under $1 million to over $50 million and have involved breach of contract and fiduciary duties, director and officer liability, securities, restrictive covenants, employment discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, false advertising, trade secrets and theft of confidential data, cybersecurity, and other commercial, consumer, financial, and employment issues.
Since establishing Lehner Dispute Resolution in 2023, he has presided over more than 30 commercial, employment, and consumer arbitrations, many of which have resolved through final hearings and awards on the merits. Those arbitrations have involved issues including lender liability for phishing, partnership allocations, business torts, contract disputes, data privacy, website tracking, consumer lending, and employment discrimination and harassment.
Randall is also a trained mediator. He completed an extensive training program with experienced faculty and hands-on learning through the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR).
Core Approach Focused on Efficiency, Preparation, and Technology

Randall approaches each matter with thorough preparation and a commitment to efficiency in the process. His experience managing large-scale dispute portfolios in arbitration and court taught him the importance of streamlined processes and cost-effective resolution.
He understands and leverages technology where appropriate. To stay on top of rapidly changing technology and the use of AI in dispute resolution, he recently completed the Tech Cred certification from the New York Law School and the American Bar Association. That program provided him with tools to effectively address new technological evidentiary issues in ADR, including blockchain, AI, smart contracts, cybersecurity, and data protocols.
Corporate Legal and Law Firm Experience
For the last 5 years, Randall has held executive and other senior leadership roles in corporate legal departments. Most recently, he was General Counsel of a publicly traded manufacturer where he served on the senior leadership team while directing all legal matters. He led the successful effort to list the company stock on Nasdaq and implemented corporate and board governance structures to meet SEC and exchange requirements. He also negotiated and drafted complex, multi-year, cross-border sales, and supply agreements worth hundreds of millions in revenue and collaborated with the CFO and international lenders to refinance over $100 million in debt.
As Deputy General Counsel at one of the nation's largest retail mortgage originators and an emerging fintech, Randall oversaw enterprise risk management and dispute resolution in regulatory investigations, consumer lending, advertising and competition, joint ventures, labor and employment, intellectual property, and insurance coverage. He achieved a multi-million recovery in insurance coverage through a phased effort involving mediation, litigation, and appeal for a false claims act matter.
During his more than twenty years in private practice, he worked for prominent international and regional law firms where he represented clients in government agencies, financial institutions, fintechs, manufacturers, investment advisors, food and beverage, portfolio managers, and other regulated industries and professionals. He regularly counseled C-suite executives and board members on regulatory and internal investigations, government enforcement actions, and compliance programs.
